Happy first day of July!
I still can’t believe that half of the year is gone, but I am so looking forward to this month. You will know the reason why in my Currently post last month. You may check the link to that post below.
So anyway, it’s time for another recap. It’s always fun for me to look back on the month that was and for you to also see what you may have missed. Brace yourself for the June recap!
Family Fun Time
We always find time to spend family time together and do fun things together as family as much as we can. Our son was a huge fan of LEGO when he was little so we made sure to visit the LEGO Exhibit at the North Carolina Arboretum and it was amazing. Even us adults were amazed by such works of art. We also checked the varieties of Bonsai plants while we were there.
I shared fun ways to celebrate Father’s Day and we had a fun time celebrating the man of the house over here.
I Love Food
National holidays are fun to celebrate like National Donut Day or National Smoothie Day. And of course, Independence Day is just a few days away. So to make those celebrations extra-special, I rounded up recipes that you might like to add to your menu.

This & That
The hubs is back on the blog after taking a decade off and you may read what he’s currently up to in his June Currently Hubby Edition post. I’ve also shared what I’m currently enjoying in my Wifey Edition Currently post. Check that out if you want to know what I’m currently watching which is really exciting.
I also wrote about the importance of getting a higher education and shared an awesome sweepstakes with an incredible prize. Have you entered yet?
That’s a wrap!
How was your June?

Yep, so far, so good, Teresa. Thankful and grateful for that.
We moved on May 31, so the first half of June was settling into our new, downsized home. It all fit! Then, it was time to play catch up on my new blog. FYI, never move when you have pneumonia. It’s tougher that way!
Sorry about that, Karen. I hope you’re feeling better.
