And my birthday month had ended, but it was a wonderful month. We were able to enjoy good food, had a fun, short trip and we accomplished a lot. So here’s the recap of all the things that we shared here on the blog last month. Read more and see what you may have missed.

Get In My Belly

I had a sumptuous dinner for my birthday at our most favorite seafood restaurant here in the city. Thanks to the Hubs for the treat! I have also shared our favorite roasted chicken recipes and the dinner on the run that I have tried for the first time which was surprisingly delicious. I shared our favorites at Trader Joe’s as well. And I’m thinking about going there soon to grab some pumpkin flavored goodies. Just talking about that is already making me excited and hungry too.

Family, Fall & Fun

My son received a letter from his teacher and it was just so sweet and heartwarming. Loved it! My busy Hubby was able to make a post about that invasive kudzu and I also shared some fun that we have had and all things fall.

October is here and more fun is coming. I am so looking forward to seeing the changing of leaves reach its peak. It’s usually in the second week of October, but sometimes it changes because of the weather. I’m also thinking about visiting a pumpkin patch soon. My husband is not so into pumpkins, but I will grab him by the feet if I need to. Haha!

    Oh my gosh I want that! I need that to come to my house so that I can eat it LOL. At some point in the next month we are hoping to get to a pumpkin patch.

    Sounds like you had a great and productive September. How can your hubs not like pumpkins!? October is my favorite month, with all the fun flavors of the season rolling out and fall themed activities that are so great for families! Have a great October!
