Happy December!
Just like some or most of us, I can’t believe it’s December either and 2019 is almost over. Looking back, this year sure flew by. And November went by in a jiffy too, so here I am again with my recap.
We celebrated Thanksgiving with the family over the weekend and I’m going to share more of that later this week. We also went to see some Christmas lights which was really nice. I will share about it this week too. But first, the recap for November and here it is. Check out what you may have missed.
Fun
The colors of fall were not as vibrant this year as compared to last year, but nonetheless, we still enjoyed some beautiful colors. We got to watch a movie too which we seldom do because we only pick out movies that we really want to watch on the big screen. This movie was a must watch for my husband and son and they dragged me to watch it with them. LOL. Shared Currently posts too and things that I look forward to during Thanksgiving.

Food
We don’t go out to eat often. We usually just go out on special occasions. But a few weeks ago, Hubby and I decided to fill our tummies first before doing some holiday shopping and we sampled this restaurant located close to home for the first time.
Family
We’ve been in the U.S. for nine years now and our anniversary was last week. And it was our 10th year of celebrating Thanksgiving too.
That’s a wrap!
How about you? How was your November? Hope it was great!

Did you go to the North Carolina Arbortetum to see the lights? We went a couple of years ago and they were beautiful. Sounds like you had a full and fun November.

Oh, my! You guessed it right. LOL. Glad you were able to see it too.
Congrats on your anniversary! We didn’t have much of a fall this year either. We ended up with a hard freeze in October before the leaves changed colors, and that pretty much killed them all off.
I’m glad you had an enjoyable November and Thanksgiving! It’s so crazy that it is December, but I am ready for the holidays.
I just can’t believe how fast this year has flown by. It’s been a beautiful November though.
oh my goodness isn’t is crazy how quick this year has gone! woohoo for 2020
November did seem to go by extra fast! I’m glad that you had such an enjoyable one.
Oh, I just read one of the comments asking you if you had gone to the NC Arboretum to see the Christmas lights! My step-daughter is getting married there in October, so it will be my first visit there (though there won’t be holiday lights). Last year, we went to Tower Hill Botanical Gardens in MA to see the Christmas lights, and it was terrific. November was a blur, literally coz I had eye surgery. December is starting with a Nor’easter. Should be an interesting month
Oh, a fall wedding. That’s exciting. Congrats to your daughter. I bet it’s going to be a lovely wedding.
I am shocked that we are already in our final month of 2019! We did have a lovely November though and are welcoming the Christmas holiday month with open arms. I look forward to seeing all of the lovely things ahead for you in December!
I’m not ready for 2019 to end. Meaning, I haven’t thought of what 2020 should look like to me. I need to do that pronto.
Congratulations on your anniversary! Fall in my favorite time of year! I wish it could be October every month haha
Time really fly so fast! I will definitely miss the Autumn color and all the yummy fall recipes. But I am also looking forward for the coming Holiday!
This year has gone by quickly! I love the photos of the leaves. Here in Kansas City, it seems like the leaves didn’t last long on the trees. We had several windy days which caused the pretty leaves to fall off way too early!
Looks like you had a great November. It also flew by super quick on my end as well.
I still can’t believe it’s already December. The year sure did go by quick. I am very excited for the holidays though.
I feel like November flew by! I miss fall colors, maybe next year! That food looks amazing!
Spending holiday with Family is always fun and worth the time. We don’t do much this year though, being pregnant limits your capabilities to do things. I am not complaining but we are pretty excited what life can be offer for this coming years!
The holiday season is just flying by. The fall folliage where we are is already done and we got our first snow this week.
I’ve always said that the last three months in the year are all about connecting with those you love and remembering those who’ve passed.
I can’t believe that it’s almost the end of the year! I am so excited for next year and can’t wait to spend the holiday with my family.
