Valentine’s Day is definitely one of the many occasions that we look forward to celebrating. I know some people say everyday is Valentine’s Day and I definitely know what they mean, but on Valentine’s Day we do extra which makes the day extra-special.
The hubs never fails to give me sweet surprises. He is thoughtful when it comes to special occasions like today. He got me this beautiful card with such a sweet message on it as well as this adorable bear. Don’t you just adore those pop-up cards? If you remember, he got me one for our wedding anniversary earlier this month too. And I have another cutie stuffed animal to add to my collection. Yep, I’ve been collecting all those animals that he got me over the years. I can actually see them from where I am sitting right now. I just have to look up and there they are, smiling and having a great time together. LOL.
Not only that, there were also a bunch of chocolates…dark chocolates to be precise (our favorite) and two other sweet surprises that I am just going to keep to myself. I sure didn’t expect those other two, but he sure can be really sneaky.
My husband never fails to give our son a little something too. Our son loves Reese’s chocolates so he got him this. Hell be delighted once he gets home from school.
And of course, I surprised him too. If you remember, I spilled some of those surprises in my post on ways to surprise your husband on Valentine’s Day.
It’s always a joy to see your loved ones’ faces lit up when they see their surprises. Don’t you agree? I think that is the most exciting part.

Valentine’s Day is also my wedding anniversary so its an extra special day. I surprised my kiddos this morning with a card and some chocolate, they loved that.

How sweet! You can never go wrong with chocolates for Valentine’s Day. My husband usually buys me flowers every Friday, but I asked him not to today since they would be higher in price due to the holiday. Like Mitch, I’ll buy some candy tomorrow for 1/2 price. I hope you had a lovely day ♥

Your husband is so sweet! He sure knows how to make you feel loved. My husband and I don’t usually exchange gifts for Valentine’s day but its fine with me. We are okay with staying home and binge watching movies and pigging out on pizza and popcorn. 🙂

So sweet! Valentine’s day is an ordinary day for me but we ate out the last time with my sister’s family. I love that Reese chocolate!
