As I mentioned on Monday, we celebrated Easter Sunday differently than what we were accustomed to. But although we missed hanging out with family, we still had fun celebrating a quarantined Easter.
I gave you a sneak peek of what we had for dinner on Monday, and today, I’m sharing all our fare.
We went with Asian food and had it delivered right to our doorstep. We’ve been using this app that our son told us about for ordering food and I’m going to talk about that app here on the blog soon.
For now, let me take you to what we enjoyed on Easter. Totally different than what my SIL usually serves us for Easter dinner, but we sure enjoyed them too because they were good.
It’s our first time to have ordered from this Asian restaurant although I have heard of them from a hairstylist. The name of the restaurant is Itto Ramen Bar and Tapas here in Asheville, North Carolina.
Takoyaki Balls
This is one of my son’s favorite snacks that he previously had in our hometown in the Philippines so we were so delighted to see it on the menu.
It has chopped octopus, seaweed powder, brown rice flour and is topped with bonito flakes. The one in my hometown didn’t have octopus, but they were just as good.
Miso Ramen
Me and my son love ramen. It was a rainy Easter Sunday so ramen was so perfect.
It had broth with miso, house-made ramen, chashu pork, ground pork, seasoned boiled egg, corn, and scallion.
Japanese Ice Cream
My son’s dessert. I love trying different things so I had a bite. It’s like regular ice cream but there’s like a crust in it – maybe their version of waffle cone. I have no clue what the crust was made off but the entire experience was delicious!
It did have green tea, red bean and vanilla as part of its mixture.
Wings
My husband’s wings. He loves chicken wings big time and for him, the hotter, the better.
These fried chicken wings had a sweet chili glaze.
Mango Shrimp
My husband’s other order.
It’s grilled shrimp with mango and avocado served with spicy miso sauce. Looks like I really got my husband into enjoying avocado now.
Vegetable Ramen
My ramen.
It had a creamy vegetable broth, with house made kale ramen, miso, corn, bamboo shoots, house marinated tofu, scallion, and crispy onions.
You can’t see it in the picture, but the color of the ramen noodles was green.
Tofu
I love me some extra tofu so I ordered more.
And there you have it…our Asian Easter Sunday dinner.
Happy Foodie Friday, friends!
Enjoy the weekend!

You don’t even know how long I’ve been craving Asian food, especially Chinese food! Since my wife and I have been doing keto, we have found it a challenge to get anything from takeout places. We’re living in a hotel until our house is done, and there’s no kitchen, so cooking keto Chinese is not an option 🙁

Sounds like you guys had a lot of good food for Easter. It is tough not having what we regularly have or access to the ingredients we need for recipes.

Oooh! All of that looks just so exotic to me, as I don’t often have Asian food. I bet it was delicious though, and definitely something different for Easter.
