Happy first day of July!
Wow, we’re halfway through the year already. But summer is here which is definitely a reason to be happy for me because I can now wear my shorts and flip flops and open the doors and windows and let the breeze come in. 🙂
Coming from a tropical country, I have never enjoyed too much heat, though. But it’s not as hot in here as compared to the Philippines, so I’m okay with it.
And the first day of a new month means a recap of the previous month here on the blog.
So, let’s head on to the June recap. Take a look on what you might have missed on this little blog of ours.
Family, Friends, Fun
The hubs shared about his love of music and one of his favorite films of all time. I love music, too, and I shared one of my favorite songs in my Currently post.
I also shared about my girlfriends and my love for photographing nature.
- Friends are Chocolate Chips in the Cookies of Life
- Just What is “The Right Stuff”?
- Nature Photography Day
- I’ve Got the Music in Me!
- Currently…(June 2020) Wifey Edition
I Love Food
Sharing about food, whether about a celebration or a recipe that I love or just tried for the first time, is something I always share here on the blog.
Last month, I shared about Filipino sausage or Longganisa which is one of the popular breakfast dishes in my home country.
I also shared a recipe for one of my favorite side dishes.
I took a chance and tried baking bread without yeast because the stores are out of it, but no luck.
Also shared about the food that we enjoyed on Father’s Day.
- No Yeast Bread
- Roasted Sweet Potatoes
- Skinless Longganisa (Skinless Sausage)
- Count Memories, Not Calories, Especially on Father’s Day
Kitchen Organization Ideas
I love it when things are organized. It just makes life much easier.
These are the things that I now use in our kitchen. Totally love ’em.
Have you shopped any of them yet?
That’s it!
How was your June? I hope it was great!

Thanks for sharing your June recap. I love sharing about recipes as well
I’m in South Florida and we wear shorts and flip flops year round. It is extremely hot now in the summer, over 90 degrees. I can do without the humidity for sure.
I enjoyed your recap! I will have to check out some of these products.

March-May seemed to last forever, but June flew by! I don’t like the heat at all, so since it is in the high 80s and low 90s I stay in most of the day. I’m glad you wrote the recap, I missed the post about your friends earlier.
Thank you for checking out the post about my friends, Beth. Stay safe!
It’s so hard to believe that it’s already July! The days are flying by way to quick. It’s crazy. I’m looking forward to this month though.
That’s funny that you don’t like heat being born in a tropical place. I’m not fond of cold, being born in a cold place. 🙂 Summer is flying by! Stay safe. 🙂
