My son loves food like I do. And he loves watching cooking videos on YouTube. His favorite to watch is the British Chef Gordon Ramsay.

Other than watching cooking videos on YouTube, he also likes checking out cooking videos on Instagram and TikTok.

And whenever he sees a dish that he likes from those videos, he would ask me to prepare it for him.

I have not done any of Gordon Ramsay’s recipes yet, but I have done a lot from those Instagram and TikTok videos that he saw.

But he searched the recipe for these cocktail meatballs on Google after he saw an enticing picture of meatballs on Instagram. LOL.

Those photos and videos that we see on social media sure influence our taste buds, don’t they?

So following the recipe that my son saw, here’s the cocktail meatballs with sweet and sour sauce.

This is really good and I have already prepared this a few times.

We all like it.

The sauce is not the usual sweet and sour sauce. At least, for us. It has a tangy taste to it maybe because of the apple cider vinegar.

And I only used ground pork for the meatballs. The recipe called for a combination of ground pork and ground beef.

I also did this using ground chicken before and it was also good. You can actually use ground turkey too. I will have to try it next time.

My son is starting to learn how to cook. He even prepared himself a bacon and egg sandwich today.

But for those recipes that are a little complicated, I’ll prepare those for him for now until he gets his Degree in Culinary Arts. Hehe.
