Hello September…my birth month!
I always look forward to this month because other than celebrating my birthday, Christmas also starts in September in my home country, the Philippines, that being so because we have no end of summer holiday like Labor Day, Halloween isn’t celebrated in a major fashion as here in the U.S., and we don’t have a Thanksgiving celebration. And although I’m not there, I still feel like it’s Christmas here too…my favorite time of the year. 🙂
September also means fall is right around the corner which is my favorite season, a season I’d never experienced until I got to the U.S.; in the Philippines, it’s summer all the year round!
There are definitely a lot of things to be excited about this month for me. But before I get carried away some more, here’s the recap for August. Take a look on what you might have missed here on the blog.

It looks like you had a great August. I have been shopping way too much on Amazon. I have 2 packages coming from them today.
I haven’t been doing much shopping on Amazon because I’m still in the process of downsizing out all the stuff we don’t need. 🙂
