Belated Happy Thanksgiving!
I hope y’all had a wonderful Thanksgiving celebrated with delicious food in the company of your loved ones.
We decided to stay home this year instead of celebrating it with my in-laws. Better be safe than sorry, right? And it was still a joyous one.
I have never tried cooking turkey and certainly I didn’t want to try my luck. LOL. So we decided to order food from this supermarket called The Fresh Market. They offer an entire Thanksgiving meal that is good for certain amount of people. We ordered the one that is good for 3-5 persons and guess what? It was more than enough for the three of us.
The Thanksgiving meal included turkey breast, stuffing, gravy, cranberry relish, mashed potatoes and green beans. Then I just added the butternut squash because it’s one of my favorites, and deviled eggs because my son loves them so.
I also ordered chocolate pecan pie for dessert.
Stuffing
Turkey Gravy
Cranberry Relish with Walnuts
Yukon Gold Mashed Potatoes
Butternut Squash with Cranberry and Pecans
Green Bean Medley
Deviled Eggs with Olives
Chocolate Pecan Pie
They offer different kinds of pie but the chocolate person in me decided to go for this chocolate pecan pie and I’m so glad I did. It was so good! Even the hubs and my son said so.
Dunkin’ Donuts
My son who has a sweet tooth like me decided to order these donuts using our favorite food delivery app because he said, he wanted more dessert. 🙂
It was definitely a great decision for me not to cook. Everything was delicious and all we needed to do was re-heat and eat!
And I just realized that I forgot to take a close-up shot of the queen of the table, the turkey. I must have been so excited to gobble, that’s why. 🙂
After feeding our tummies, I watched the annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade. I always watch it every year and although it was different this year, it was still fun to watch.
How was your Thanksgiving? Did you gobble ’til you wobble? 🙂

Your side dishes and dessert looked amazing. I had a nice meal but not as fancy as all you had.

Aww yeah. Now, that’s what I call a Thanksgiving feast. I would have eaten my weight in all of that.

Everything looks amazing! We had a quiet little Thanksgiving at home, just the three of us. We cooked our Thanksgiving dinner, we did cut back on several dished this year and just made our favorites (the turkey, dressing, turnip greens cranberry sauce and cake). We cleaned a bit and got ready to put up the tree this weekend. And of course, called the grandparents so our daughter could talk to them.

I cooked this year but next year I think I’ll get the meal ordered from our local grocery store. Making Thanksgiving meal is a ton of work. I did snag our Thanksgiving dinner very cheap though. I used Ibotta and got reimbursed for most of it.
