Happy Monday!
Hubby shared a Currently post last month. And now it’s my turn to share mine.
If you’re new here, Currently post is all about what we’re currently enjoying and we’re sharing it just in case you might want enjoy it, too.
Listening…
To…Champagne Night by Lady A
No velvet ropes in our hometown bar
Our VIPs are drinkin’ PBR
No, we don’t need a high-rise skyline view from the window
‘Cause way out here (way out here)
Where we’re from (where we’re from)
We don’t have to be fancy to have a whole lot of fun
I have always liked Lady A who used to call themselves, Lady Antebellum. They have such amazing voices. And this is their latest single. Love the upbeat tune and the lyrics. Sharing part of the lyrics above. Isn’t it true that we don’t have to be fancy to have a whole lot of fun?
Watching…
The Bachelor on ABC.
I have never watched this show before. But I’ve been seeing clips on TV and even on Instagram. I can’t believe they’ve been on TV for more than 20 seasons already.
Hubby was just flipping the channels one night and came across the show on their pilot episode. I said, “Let’s watch all the ladies joining this season,” and that’s how it all started.
I don’t like the drama and all the kissing ( I mean, he kisses all of them. LOL) but I got really curious when Matt (the Bachelor) was making sure the toxic atmosphere among the women was taken care of. He got rid of the mean and toxic individuals and I admired him for that. That’s what I did before, too, so I can totally relate to him. That’s how it is supposed to be done. Toxic people who have no respect for other people should not be tolerated.
Eating…
Filipino goodies.
This picture was taken in December, but I recently ordered another haul from this Filipino store online. Opening the package and knowing I have a lot of good stuff in there always feels like Christmas morning. 🙂
Looking Forward To…
Celebrating Hubby’s birthday!
Our last occasion to celebrate this February is Hubby’s birthday and I am so looking forward to it. The picture above is his gift. It’s just one box but there’s more than one item inside and I can hardly wait for him to open it and see the surprises. I have one more gift for him and I hope it gets here today. Here’s hoping! If not, he’s just going to get it a little late. But better late than never.
How about you? Any ‘Currently’ you want to share?

The Filipino goodies look interesting. I do like to try new foods. I’ve never seen the Batchelor, I don’t like the drama etc either.

Happy early birthday to your husband! Right now I’m finishing up the final season of Outlander and reading “The Black Friend”

I miss when the Batchelor wasn’t so kissy with all the contestants. I cringe trying to watch it now.

It was nice to take this look into your life and see what you are doing. I have never seen an episode of the bachelor and it was nice to read about it here.

I hope your husband has a happy birthday and I’m sure he’ll love his gifts. My daughter used to watch The Bachelor. We probably some episodes together when she was in high school or college, but I didn’t really like the premise.
