He’s all grown up!
I’m talking about our son who turned 18 years old yesterday. He’s now legally an adult. It’s another quarantine-style birthday for him, but we sure made the most of it. We showered him with surprises and he had a blast.
I asked him days prior to his birthday what cake flavor he wanted, and he specifically asked for cookies ‘n cream. That’s his most favorite flavor of all; even when it comes to ice cream. After searching online, I found this cookies ‘n cream cake at Publix and ordered it immediately.
I ordered the cake topper kit and birthday candles I found on Amazon.
This was how the cake looked like before I decorated it. It was the first time that we’ve ordered a cake at Publix and they did not disappoint. It was delicious! The birthday boy was sure on cloud 9 while eating it. 🙂
I also ordered these birthday decorations on Amazon and decorated the fireplace. They came with hang glitter banners that says, “Happy 18th Birthday” and “Time to Adult,” gold balloons and confetti balloons.
We also surprised him with gifts that were perfect for a gamer. He is a professional gamer and has been playing for two years now.
We also ordered food using our favorite food delivery app for our lunch and dinner. I’m going to share those sumptuous foods on my Foodie Friday post.
We have an adult now and I couldn’t wish him nothing more but all the best blessings life has to offer. We are rooting for him all the way and he has our 100% support on the path he chooses to travel.
