It’s Cyber Monday. Have you grabbed some deals yet? I just did and I couldn’t be more excited.
Also, how was your Thanksgiving celebration? I hope it was wonderful!
Anyhoo, time for another Currently post. Here you go!
Listening…
To…Christmas music.
Of course. Need I say more? My husband’s not as big a fan as I am, though. As per him, he’s a Scrooge, though I prefer to call him a Grinch; but same diff! 🙂
Watching…
Yellowstone Season 4 on Paramount Network.
We have been waiting for this season and it’s finally here. And it is as entertaining as always.
We also just finished watching YOU on Netflix. And we are already looking forward to the next season.
Have you been watching Yellowstone? Who is your favorite character in the series? Mine’s Rip.
Eating…
A delicious Thanksgiving meal.
Well actually, I already ate it. 🙂
We were not able to celebrate Thanksgiving with my brother-in-law and his family last year because of the pandemic, so it was good to see them all again this year. As usual, my sister-in-law prepared a bountiful meal. Below was my plate.
There’s turkey, mashed potatoes, corn, cornbread stuffing, green beans, brussels sprouts with butternut squash and sweet potato. This is the traditional country-style cooking I was introduced to on coming to the U.S. There were cakes and pies, too. But after this meal, I had no room for any of them. Shame on me because I have a sweet tooth. And we also brought a tray of desserts to share.
Celebrating…
Because we finally have new floors.
If you have been following us, we did a lot of DIY’ing last year and the last on our list was to have the floors changed from carpet to vinyl planks. And it finally got done last week. I was planning on doing it myself – slowly but surely, but the husband had other plans – hire a contractor to do it. Hehe.
Loving…
My Christmas lantern or Parol.
I usually decorate the weekend before Thanksgiving, but I waited until the new floors were laid down. New floors are down and the halls are decked and I’m loving everything.
I just got these Christmas lanterns from Etsy. They are made of capiz and they are imported from the Philippines. They are popularly known as Parol in my home country.
Enjoying…
Crabs.
Already enjoyed them and they were good. We always get fresh crabs back in my Philippine hometown and I haven’t had crabs in a while. So I was delighted when I saw them at Harris Teeter. I had to grab them immediately. Yum!
Looking Forward To…
Christmas.
I guess I am not the only one looking forward to celebrating Christmas with my loved ones. And I’m done shopping for gifts. I haven’t started wrapping them yet, though, because it’s been a little busy over here. But I’ll get to it soon.
How about you? Any Currently you want to share?
