If you’re not new here on the blog, you already know by now that I always make a list of goals for the year. But before I talk about my current goals, let’s talk about how I did last year.
I made a simple list of goals in 2021 and I’d say it was a success because we did more than 50% of it. Yay! We had the floors changed and got a filing cabinet and organized our files. The three of us also got vaccinated and we were able to travel for my birthday. The only things that we were not able to do were stain the deck and walk 5,000 steps a day. But I’m not going to give up. I’ll make those as goals again this 2022 and then some.
House
The only thing that we were not able to do that was on our list last year was to stain the decks. I told the hubs today that we’ll do our best to put it on the top of our to-do list this summer. And he agreed. 🙂
Personal
Walk. I did a lot of walking on my son’s treadmill last year, but it wasn’t 5,000 steps a day. It was only more than 1,000 steps. But it felt good. I may just have to do it like that, build it up a li’l at a time, as long as long I do it everyday.
Read. I am going to do my best to read again. Hubby has a ton of books here because as you know, he’s a bookworm. But when I asked him what he would recommend for me to read first, he said he still has to think about it.
Travel
When I asked the hubs what are his goals for the year, he told me that going to Canada is one of them. For those who don’t know, my brother and his family live there and we’ve been wanting to visit them. If not for the pandemic, we may have already visited them.
So, there you go!
How about you? Do you have a list of goals for 2022?

My (primary) goal for 2022 is the same as last year – to stay healthy. Travel plans are all on hold for what seems like an eternity, but I am perfectly content with reading and tending to my house plants. Wishing you all the best in the goals you’ve set for yourself.

It’s good to try and set a few goals each year. I’m working on boosting my steps to 15,000 a day Monday to Friday. Almost made it yesterday, I was sooooo close!!!

I’d love to travel more this year too. I couldn’t do much last year but even small trips, I’d love to do this year

We discovered our love for the Northern Cascades a few years ago, but had never had the time to go to Canada. With the pandemic, we had to push off our plans to make the trip. I can’t wait to visit soon as well!

I started this year with traveling and yes I am a traveling lover too.

I would also like to travel some more. Hopefully pandemic restrictions will be lifted. It is nice you don’t have a ton of house projects you need to do!

Readings a big goal of mine! It’s getting into the habit of swapping one thing for another though, I’d like to go on my phone less and read more, which hopefully in time will happen!
