It’s Friday and that only means one thing here on the blog…food! Nom!
I came across this Crispy Beef recipe on Instagram. And you know me, when it’s so easy to make with very few ingredients, not to mention, if it sounds good and looks good, then you better believe I’m going to give it a try.
We love a good beef dish over here. And as always, my son and I paired it with steamed Jasmine rice. My husband paired his with Au gratin potatoes. Sometimes he would pair it with mashed potatoes; as he loves to say, “taters” is his rice.
The content creator paired hers with zucchini noodles. I had zucchini noodles before and I think it’s a delicious idea to pair it with Crispy Beef as well.
I’ve already prepared this dish many times but it just recently dawned on me that I haven’t shared it here on the blog yet. You might want to give it a try yourself so here you go.
For the ingredients, I used 1 pound of ground beef, chopped garlic (the more garlic for us, the better), salt and pepper for taste, frozen bell peppers and onions, a can of crushed tomatoes and water.
I did skip some of the ingredients like thyme or crushed red pepper. I didn’t add sriracha as well because I really don’t like hot and spicy food. I’m okay with mild spiciness and that’s it.
You can find the recipe that I followed HERE. And you can find more recipes that I’ve shared before HERE.
This simple beef dish is really delicious. And it is husband and son approved! Both of them can be picky so if they like the dish, you bet it’s really that good. 🙂
How about you? Have you tried preparing this Crispy Beef before? Do tell.
Happy Foodie Friday, friends!

This is similar to the Filipino Dish “giniling” which means ground beef. I want to try it to compare the similarities with your crispy beef recipe.

Ooh, it’s like the Picadillo dish here in the Philippines, which is usually cooked with ground pork.

I feel the same about garlic – I like to go heavy on the garlic! Sounds like a great recipe.
