As I mentioned on my August Currently post, I’m going to talk more about the Colleen Hoover books that I shared a little about, and today is the day.

And like I said on that post, my sister-in-law (my brother-in-law’s wife) was the one who introduced me to Colleen Hoover and it happened at Christmas of 2022. That was after one of my great-nieces, Autumn, opened one of her gifts and they were Colleen Hoover books. I don’t know exactly who amongst the two of them discovered Colleen Hoover first, but Autumn is hooked to Colleen as well. Most of these books that I’m sharing today are books that I borrowed from Autumn. I only own the first two (It Ends With Us and It Starts With Us) that the hubs bought for me. Layla is from the library and the rest are Autumn’s.
From My Library
It Ends With Us
This is my first Colleen Hoover book that I ever owned and read. This is the love story of Lily and Atlas. I really enjoyed their story and it’s just one of the reasons why I got hooked to Colleen Hoover.
It Starts With Us
And this is the second book of the story about Lily and Atlas.
From the City Library
Layla
The hubs always borrows book from the Library so I told him to look for a Colleen Hoover and he found this.
I sure did not expect the supernatural theme of this book. I actually thought it would be too scary for me to read, but no. It was a good one!
From My Great-niece Autumn’s Library
Reminders of Him
This is a story of heartbreak, and hope, with a beautiful ending. It only goes to show you that life can still be beautiful despite all the challenges.
November 9
The story of this book revolves between a writer and his love interest. Imagine having made a pact of just meeting once a year and on the same date? I think it would be exciting, though strange. You’ll have to read it to know the why.
All Your Perfects
This book is about marriage and all the ups and downs that a couple faces. No marriage is perfect and it is totally up to the two of you how you’re going to make it work.
Maybe Not
This is part of a three series novel. I still have to read the other two. This is about a story of two roommates who fell in love with each other.
Heart Bones
This is about a romance between two young adults who came from different backgrounds.
Without Merit
The story of this one revolves around family and all the love, drama, fun, etc. that goes with it.
There you have it! These are the only ones I’ve read so far. I’m so looking forward to reading more.

I read a lot of her books. Some I liked, but some reminded me of the books I just read from her. They seem to basically have the same plots.

The only Colleen Hoover book I have read is Verity. I totally was not expecting that type of story! It was incredibly dark and intense. I am looking forward to reading more of her books.
