If you remember, I previously shared about the Colleen Hoover books that I have read so far. I was really hooked on her novels, and I’m looking forward to reading another book from her. But aside from her books, I also got to read other books this summer.

From the City Library
Spare by Prince Harry
This book breaks the Guinness record for the fastest-selling nonfiction book. And after seeing and listening to audio clips of it on TikTok, I was eager to read the book. But I didn’t want to purchase one so I waited until it was available at the city library.
This book had me glued. I even brought this to bed and read before I slept which I had never done in the past. That’s something my husband has done since he was 6-years-old. And because I was so excited to continue reading, I totally forgot about doing the laundry. LOL. I have a scheduled day for doing laundry and I only remembered about it in the afternoon, after I took some rest reading. My husband really chuckled after I told him that.
The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid
My niece, Mawee who also loves to read (she is also hooked on Colleen Hoover) recommended this book. This was an interesting read. I like it when the ending is unpredictable and this is one of those books.
This was the first novel that I have read from this author. I would have never heard about her if not for my niece.
From Autumn’s Library
Winter Garden by Kristin Hannah
Autumn is my great-niece who lent me most of the Colleen Hoover books that I had read. She loaned this book to me as well.
The story of this novel started around Christmas so that got me really excited because I love Christmas. Then I got bored in the middle after the story revolved around the second World War. I almost didn’t want to finish this book actually. But I continued and it actually had a surprising ending, and a beautiful one.
How about you? What books have you read this summer? Have you read any of these books?

It sounds like you managed to get through a few good books recently. I’m glad the last book you read was good in the end. It’s hard to know whether to keep reading sometimes x

I read them all, so I am sure you have enjoyed it. As much as I would like to claim that I did not like spare but the write up is superb, seven husbands is my absolute fav but I found it relatable by a book called Susanna’s Seven Husband writen by a very old indian author. And I remember Winter Garden was recommended to me by our book club and I liked it too.
