Goodbye, January! Hello, February!
As usual, it seemed like it took forever for January to be over. But we did some fun and exciting things in January and the beginning of February and I couldn’t be more grateful. And proud. And all of the above, I must say. I was on cloud 9 in those couple of days to be precise. And I will share more about those events in the near future.
For now, let’s head on to the recap for January. Take a look at what you might have missed here on the blog.
The Highlights of 2023
To start the year here on the blog, I usually recap the highlights of the previous year. We did a lot of fun and exciting travels last year. And they were all the highlights of last year. I couldn’t be more thankful for all those times. We made such great memories with our favorite people in my home country.
How to Organize with a Planner
Also started the year by sharing my planner. I started using a planner again last year and decided to continue because of how it makes life so much easier for me. I shared my tips on how I organize with a planner and I hope those tips would help in case you’re thinking or planning to have your own planner as well.
I Love Food
You already know how I love food if you’re a constant visitor here on the blog. I share food trips as well as recipes all the time.
For last month, I shared our first Cuban food experience. It has similarity to my home country’s food which was a delight for both me and my son.
I also shared two recipes. One for an air fryer and one for a soup. Check them all out below if you haven’t yet.
Mediterranean “Detox” Cabbage Soup
Winter Everything
And finally, I shared a “smorgasbord” of fun things in my monthly Currently post. I dubbed it the winter edition because of the arctic blast that hit us.
Currently…(January 2024) Winter Edition
That’s a wrap for the January recap! It was a lovely January, for sure.
How about you? How was your January?

I felt January flew by. But then again I work 6 days a week. I can’t believe it’s already February and we are slowly inching our way for Super Bowl Sunday and spring break.

I love food too so always enjoy reading your restaurant reviews. It’s great to discover some new great restaurants. I don’t think I’ve tried Cuban food but be it’s yummy. I think that I may have missed that post, need to scroll back and find it. Your tuna recipe sounds lovely x
