My son who is currently away is continuing to share with me his foodie adventures with his buddies and also takes photos for me. He knew I would love to share those photos and his stories on this little blog of mine.
If you remember, I previously shared about his food trip with his buddies. Today, I’m going to talk about the new restaurant that they tried out – a restaurant that they had never been to before.
Loaded Fries
Look at those fries! They look like they were loaded with deliciousness, didn’t they? My son loves French fries big time. If it’s on the menu, you bet it’s going to be one of his sides. This was his appetizer, though. This dish had cheddar, pepper jack, bacon bits, green onions and bacon ranch.
Sweet N’ Smoky Ribs
This was the entrée that he chose to have. Those were smoked St. Louis style pork ribs with smoky sweet BBQ sauce plus an adult mac n’ cheese and creamy coleslaw as sides.
Sundae
As much as he enjoys a good meal, he also always makes room for some delish dessert. He has a sweet tooth like me. This sundae had two scoops of vanilla ice cream on a hot fudge brownie. It sounds as good as it looks!
Him and his buddies really enjoyed their food and and had a great time at that restaurant. Such lovely friendship trips they all had. Oh, and he only had water to drink. Just like me, my son is not a soda drinker. And if orange juice isn’t available, water is the only other choice for us!
I’m getting hungry just looking at all these photos. I may have to grab me a sundae today to beat the heat.

Brownie sudaes are one of those things that you might not even be thinking of but when you see one you want one. The power of suggestion is strong with sweets. 🙂
