Happy Friday, friends! Is it just me or do you feel the same way too that the week just went by like a blink of an eye? 😉 This week has not been hectic for us compared to the previous couple of weeks, but we have activities coming up with regards to our very active kiddo so more hectic weeks are coming which I do look forward to.
Anywho, after I reminisced about our second trip to the Biltmore Estate, I mentioned in the last part of that post that I was going to share what we filled our tummies with that day at Bistro, a contemporary American restaurant that is located inside the estate. I did mention too that it was our first wedding anniversary that day and that was where we had lunch as our little celebration. It was our first time to eat at the restaurant and it was a good meal. We enjoyed what we had.
Bread and Dip
It’s always good to have this yummy appetizer while waiting for the main courses.
Yellow Squash Soup
This was hubby’s soup but I had a few sips and it was really good and creamy. That was my first time to have tasted such soup.
Crispy Calamari
There’s no more question who ordered this, right? The little one of course. This is his most favorite appetizer of all time.
Chicken Tenders and Fries
If calamari is his favorite appetizer, this is his favorite entree’. Need I say more? I think this is a favorite of most kiddos.
Mexican Pizza
It was our first time to have tried this pizza and it was such an interesting pizza. I forgot exactly what was on it, but it was good.
And there’s our cutie little kiddo enjoying his juice.
That was the last part of our day at the Biltmore Estate. It was already mid-afternoon when we left the estate with a little leftover pizza. That day will always- be memorable for us because it was our first wedding anniversary celebration and it was well-spent at such an amazing place.
Hope you all have a great weekend!

I can’t think of a better place to celebrate an anniversary than the Biltmore. It just radiates beauty.
I totally agree. It was the perfect place for our first wedding anniversary. 🙂
Now you have made me hungry. =) These dishes of food look really yummy. Have a great weekend too! =)
Thank you, Bonnie! 🙂
Yum those chicken tenders and that pizza! Look amazing! Delicious. Would love to dine here anytime!
You should go visit. I bet you’ll enjoy the food. 🙂
Those chicken tenders and fries look yummy! My kids would love visiting a place like that.
Kids do love chicken tenders and fries. 🙂
I was on the page for quite a while, but just couldn’t quit staring at the calimari! Yum! I have to get to Biltmore someday and check it out!
You should go to Biltmore. Bet you’ll love it there. 🙂
Absolutely loving the calamari and the squash soup looks so delicious and making me so hungry. Happy belated 1st anniversary.
Thank you! 🙂
That looks like a terrific place to eat. All of that food looks amazing. So yummy!
It is a nice place. You should go check it out. 🙂

You should. 🙂
As I sit here with my mouth watering and my stomach growling!!! Looks like an amazing place!
LOL. Actually, my stomach is growling now too.
That Mexican pizza looks so different. My favorite pizza is the gyro picca that we buy once in a while from a family owned pizza place here in the area. You made me hungry!
Hubby loves gyros but I don’t think we’ve tried gyro pizza. Sounds interesting. We’ll check it out.
Oh my, all of that food looks delicious! I would love to try that squash soup sometime! Thanks for sharing your experience!
You’re welcome, Echo. 🙂
I get excited when they bring out dipping oils for my bread basket. I don’t eat a lot of bread so this is a wonderful treat for me.
I get excited too. But I don’t eat much bread at the restaurant because I’m afraid I will have no more room for the main course. 🙂
Look at that Mexican Pizza. Yum! Now that’s the way to have a meal. 🙂
Haha. I know, right?
I’ve been to the Biltmore Estate but never eaten there. The food looks great and the atmosphere was amazing, I bet!!
Oh yeah, it was. 🙂
Everything looks incredible! I love restaurants that have bread with oil to dip in! It is usually my favorite part of the meal! Looks like you guys had a great time!
We definitely had a great time. Hope we get to go back soon. 🙂
That squash soup is really nice. I love that there were children’s options too! I’ve gotta try it!
You should. 🙂
This food looks so delicious. I love to dip my bread in oil and vinegar. I would love to eat here if i am in the area.
I love to dip too. Now I’m hungry just thinking about it. LOL.
The chicken tenders and fries look so yummy and tasty, it’s always been one of my favorite dishes. I have never tried squash soup, but this bistro looks like it serves some really great food I would want to try.
You’re like my son. Chicken tenders and fries are one of his favorites. 🙂
Oh that all looks so delicious! Now I’m hungry!
Me too! LOL.
Everything looks super yummy! The crust on the Mexican pizza looks super inviting. It looks like they have a cilantro pesto and prosciutto on it. ^_^
Probably! I totally forgot what was on that pizza. All I remember was that it was yummy! 🙂
As long as there’s chicken fingers and fries my youngest will be happy. I could go for a butternut squash soup so bad!
Totally like my son. And for as long as there’s calamari too. 🙂
How lovely to go out to lunch, I want to do this with my family soon. That soup looks so delicious!
I love going out or eating out with my boys. It’s always fun! 🙂
