I wasn’t able to post my September edition of Currently here on the blog because as you know, Hurricane Helene happened. Already had plans of what that edition would have been which was supposed to be my birthday, but no worries. Happy to report, though that I absolutely enjoyed my birthday because as usual, my husband and son made it extra-special for me.
Anyhoo, here’s October Currently for you.
Fall is my favorite season among the four and there are so many reasons why. Beautiful foliage, sweater weather, pumpkins and Thanksgiving to name a few.
Watching…
Also look forward to the TV shows that premiers or returns in the Fall. I shared what I am watching this year in my Fall 2024 TV shows to watch. I am also watching Sullivan’s Crossing on The CW. It wasn’t included on my list because I thought they didn’t renew for Season 2. Only knew that it had returned after seeing the recordings on our DVR. And Christmas movies are now on the Hallmark Channel so I watch those, too, even if they are reruns.
Enjoying…
Aren’t those pumpkins adorable? This was at Harris Teeter in Charlotte, North Carolina during the time that I went grocery shopping with the hubs and his friend’s wife. If you read my post about Hurricane Helene, you already knew that we stayed at their house for eight nights.
Loving…
The foliage color is at its peak now and I’m really loving all the beauty that it is doing to the surroundings. When you look at all this beauty, it makes you forget that a hurricane just devastated the area.
Exercising…
It is our constitutional right to vote so, the hubs and I did just that last week. We always go during the early voting period. There was a line but we were done in less than an hour. And you’ve got to love the electronic voting. It was our first and it was easy peasy.
Looking Forward To…
Thanksgiving! Despite what happened recently with the hurricane’s devastation in the area, we still have a lot to be thankful and grateful for.

I love all the voted stickers this year, they are fantastic! The weather here has been wet, so the leaves aren’t as crispy as I would like.

I absolutely loved your October edition. I love fall and every beautiful color it brings. Our family of five have all voted. This is our daughter’s first presidential election since they are 18, 19, and 21. We were excited to see them proudly participate.
