We were in Washington, D.C. for four days. Our last day being Sunday, we spent it by attending a mass at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception. I am Catholic by faith and the beauty of the church as well as the mass was really overwhelming. We were there a little early so since it was our first time to be there, we checked what the church has to offer.
They have a gift or souvenir shop in the basement and as I saw this cross pin, I instantly had this impulse of buying it for souvenir. My birth month is September thus, Sapphire is my birth stone.
