Christmas has come and gone. And oh how fast it was! It seems like it was only yesterday when I put the Christmas tree up and decked the house with Christmas decors. In a few days, I will be taking it all down. I always wait until after the New Year to clean up. That’s the way I’ve always done it.
Anyway, like I said in my previous post where I talked about the delicious desserts that we had, we celebrated Christmas Eve with my husband’s brother (my BIL) and his family. Everybody was there and it was crazy. We only get together on special occasions such as Christmas so it was a kind of a catching up time too.
My handsome kiddo playing with his iPod while we were waiting for our food. He always brings his toy with him wherever we go.
After the delicious dinner that we had which I am going to share on Friday, we circled downtown again to look at the Christmas decorations including the Christmas tree in the middle of the city which is simple yet still brings so much spirit.
Ahhh, Christmas is over but I can say, the spirit is still here and I am still feeling it. That’s how special Christmas is to me.
How was your Christmas celebration?

It sounds like you and your family had a very nice Christmas. Ours was pretty low key, and I am A-ok with that.
Ours was pretty laid back! Didn’t do much, just had us here for dinner and presents.. Exactly how I like it! – Jeanine
Awwww love all the Christmas pics!!? Glad y’all had a fabulous Christmas!!
Thank you. (“,)
This sounds a lot like my Christmas. I’m going to miss seeing the members of my family that live far away!
We did miss my family back home. Hopefully we get to spend Christmas with them next year. (“,)
Our Christmas was great. Lots of family and lots of food. You can’t beat that.
Christmas in our family is for everyone. We all give presents and open the gifts together on Christmas Eve. Our tradition is to spend dinner just at home since we know that restaurants are packed.
That’s how we do it back home in the Philippines too. And we also do parlor games which is always fun.
I love the Christmas spirit because it brings families together which is the best part I think. It sounds like you all had a wonderful Christmas indeed. Your son looks super happy. Thanks for sharing.
He was happy because he got lots of presents. (“,)
Lots of food this Christmas! Baked like crazy–cookies, cupcakes, muffins. I was the pastry lady!
That sounds like fun. I didn’t get to bake at all. My SIL did all the baking. (“,)
It does sound like you had a great christmas! Mine was quite relaxing after returning home from Berlin- just spent the day lounging about the house!
So glad you had a great Christmas! We had a nice time spent with our family which is my favorite.
Glad you had a great Christmas too. (“,)
The last picture was hilarious – that’s about the same look I get from my son when I take his picture. It’s like, ‘really, you’re taking my picture’ look. 🙂 Sounds like you guys had a wonderful, relaxing Christmas.
Haha. That’s too funny. I love taking pictures of him and so far, there were no complaints. (“,) Yes, we did have a wonderful Christmas. Hope you too.
It sounds like you had a wonderful Christmas. Ours was good as well. We were able to share Christmas dinner with our extended family.
Good to know that. (“,)
Sounds like you and yours had a very lovely Christmas. I can’t believe how quickly it’s been and gone this year, I’m so sad the festive season is over 🙁
Same here actually. It’s always sad when my favorite time of the year is over.
My son was really sad to put the tree away. We baked a lot and visited family. Can’t wait for 2015!
Our tree is still up. I’m going to put it away after the New Year. Can’t wait for 2105 too!
Looks like you had a fabulous Christmas! The family is happily enjoying their toys!

We had a great Christmas with lots of family time. Now that my girls are grown and don’t live here, we really treasure the time we get with them.
