When life gets hectic and I have no time to prepare a good hearty home-cooked meal for my family, there is only one answer to that around here: takeout! And as an Asian, it is always Asian food that I prefer. Good thing my Caucasian husband loves Asian food as well, so…perfect! Of course, our son loves it too seeing that he’s Asian. There is this Chinese restaurant near our home that has been a favorite of ours when it comes to takeout food for years now. We just can’t get enough of their delicious food. I could eat their food everyday. But, we do know that it’s not practical to takeout food all the time. Also, after making it a goal to eat healthier this year, I realized, I really have no idea what I’m eating and what I am getting myself into from those takeout food.
So I was more than delighted when I discovered Blue Dragon! They offer different authentic tasting Asian sauces and other ingredients needed for my favorite Asian recipes. I can create my own “takeout” at home without having the fear of not eating healthy because I know what’s in it. I can easily open a pack of sauce anytime and pour over the other ingredients in the wok and there’s our meal! So quick and easy and perfect for those hectic days as well.
I prepared Broccoli Beef and Tuna Spring Rolls using the Blue Dragon Broccoli Beef Stir Fry Sauce ad the Blue Dragon Spring Roll Wrappers. I only needed those few ingredients and within a few minutes, dinner was good-to-go!
The Broccoli Beef was so tasty. And my son who can be picky at times enjoyed it too. Try it and see for yourself. I think you’re going to thank me.

Honestly, these Tuna Spring Rolls were the healthiest spring rolls that I’ve ever had in my life and they are so amazingly good. I can’t wait for my husband to taste these. I bet he would love it too.
TUNA SPRING ROLLS
Ingredients:
1 can of flaked light tuna
2 tbsp light mayonnaise
2 green onions
1/2 tsp seasoned salt
1 leaf lettuce
1 red or orange pepper, cut into thin strips
1 cucumber, cut into thin strips
1 Blue Dragon Spring Roll Wrappers
Directions:
1. Mix tuna with mayo and dry ingredients to create the filling.
2. Run water over Blue Dragon Spring Roll Wrappers until soft.
3. Place wrapper on a flat surface and begin to assemble the roll. Place a piece of lettuce in the middle to create a bed for tuna; spoon a row of tuna on top. Thinly sliced pepper, cucumber and onion and place them next to the tuna.
4. Fold the spring rolls: carefully pull the left and right sides over top of the filling, then lift the bottom and roll up. Use a bit of water on your finger to rub the roll and make a seal when complete.
