Happy Food Trip Friday!
We had a family fun day Sunday. After watching the movie, Jason Bourne at our favorite theater to go to, we had dinner at a restaurant that we hadn’t been to before. We’ve passed by this restaurant every time we’ve watched a movie in the past. The name of the restaurant is Copper River Grill and it is located on Hendersonville Rd. in Asheville, NC. We love grilled food so we told ourselves that we are going to sample that restaurant someday. And that day finally came.
We always choose to go to a different restaurant when we go out to eat and try something new. This restaurant surely did not disappoint at all. From the ambiance to the service and of course to the food, they excelled! I actually found out today after checking their website that they had received many awards for being one of the best restaurants in our area. There sure is no question why.
I was so delighted when I saw this Blackened Ahi Tuna Sandwich on the menu. I love tuna. We have lots of it back home and we almost have it on our table everyday. My city of General Santos is actually the Tuna Capital of the Philippines. The blackened tuna was served on a grilled bun with lettuce, tomato, onions, pickles and homemade remoulade. I had Cheese Mashed Potatoes as side dish.

And it came with this Baked Potato Soup.
The little one’s Smoked Chicken Wings. Both him and hubs love chicken wings, and for them…the hotter the better!
We really enjoyed the food. And there’s more to try in that restaurant because they offer a lot of choices from appetizers and stoned fired pizza to steaks and ribs, pasta, desserts and even to wines. We’ll certainly make this a go-to-more-than-once place!

Oh this looks fantastic. I am hungry as I type this which may not have been the best idea before looking at your post. We are always on the lookout for a fun family restaurant with variety and a great atmosphere. This looks perfect!
Love it when we find a new non chain eatery to enjoy. We are really lucky to live near a town that has a ton of great, unique places to eat.

I LOVE Copper River Grill! The food here is amazing and I love the atmosphere as well. Very romantic for a date night.
