Hello March!
I can’t believe it’s already March, but you know what? February didn’t seem to fly by so quick compared to the previous months. Maybe because we were busy celebrating special occasions. February is the most celebrated month over here because other than being the month of love or the heart month with February 14 being Valentine’s Day, we also celebrate our wedding anniversary in February as well as Hubby’s birthday. I’ve shared all those celebrations here on the blog, but let me recap them all for you today just in case you missed them. So here’s our February recap!
FAMILY
Valentine’s Day, our wedding anniversary and Hubby’s birthday…we celebrated all of those special occasions as family. Yes, even on our wedding anniversary, we had the little one in tow. It has always been like that and we’re not going to change that. We love it like it is. Those occasions are one of our bonding moments as family where we chat while enjoying our food. Those are good times and fun times, so why change? 🙂
FOOD
For our wedding anniversary, we tried out a restaurant that is new to us. This restaurant is considered to be one of the best in Asheville, NC. The name of the restaurant is Chestnut and after having that anniversary dinner, there was no question why people love it. It was a heart-y anniversary treat indeed!
For Valentine’s Day, we went to this German restaurant called The Bavarian Restaurant and Biergarten that offers authentic German cuisine. That was our second time there and just like the first time, they did not disappoint.
For Hubby’s birthday, we went to LongHorn Steakhouse which is one of our favorite restaurants ever. That was our third time there and not the last, for sure.
Do you love French Cuisine? I’ve shared the must-have pantry ingredients for that. And don’t you just love the Folgers Jingle? They’re having a Folgers Jingle Contest so check that out!
TRAVEL
The Hubs talked so much about our city last month like the local history that he discovered and about the French Broad River. And I’ve shared about those beautiful murals at the River Arts District here in Asheville too. You should not miss seeing those murals when you visit our city. They’re really cool!
How was your February? Hope it was full of love!

It sounds like you had a wonderful February, full of celebrations and good times with your family! My February has been a bit dull, this is my husband’s busy time in his job, so I have spent the month in a motel room out of state with him while he is working. It will get a bit better when it stops being so cold and snowy and I can get outside and sight see a bit!
