And he’s not the only one excited about this new-found goodie; me too. You know why? That’s because I have me a picky eater here. I must admit that. And the Garden Lites Chocolate Muffins are here to the rescue!
Finding my son snacks as well as preparing him meals can be daunting because he never eats vegetables. But I was a picky eater too when I was his age and it totally changed now that I’m an adult. I love vegetables more than anything. There should always be vegetables with every meal for me. That said, I believe that he’s going to learn to love vegetables too, eventually. But then again, kids do need their vegetables because the nutrients that vegetables give can’t be beat.
So imagine my delight when I found out about Garden Lites Chocolate Muffins. Our son loves muffins like me. And we are definitely chocoholics! But the best part about these muffins? They are made with 1/3 fresh vegetables and come in many different flavors. They are also gluten free and dairy free. Our son can enjoy his favorite muffins while eating healthy at the same time. That’s definitely a win-win and I am one happy mommy!
Garden Lites are available at our local Publix and can be found at the bread section in the frozen goods aisle.
Chocolate is our most favorite flavor of all when it comes to sweets. So the Garden Lites Chocolate Muffins are just perfect!
He is always hungry after every soccer practice or game, and even after getting home from school the Garden Lites sure come in handy. Don’t worry, I didn’t tell him about the vegetables and he is never going to know. Well, maybe I’ll tell him once he’s old enough to realize that vegetables are such a good thing – nutrient wise and taste wise. 😉
A happy camper he is!
How about you? Do you have a picky eater too? Fret no more because here’s the answer to that dilemma! 🙂

I keep forgetting to grab these at the store! Thank you for the reminder. I have been wanting to try them since I first learned about them last month. They look great and healthier than most snacks.
I’m so thankful hat my kids aren’t picky eaters. I grew up being the picky eater so I know the struggles that come along with it.
This would definitely trick my tricky eater. They wouldn’t even realize they are getting nutrients in them.
My other half is such a fussy eater, I really need to try these on him and see what he thinks thank you.
I have two little picky eaters! This looks like a yummy snack and I hope that the twins will like this.
The picky eater in my family is actually my husband! I would SO trick him with this treat!!

I have seen these in my grocery store, but have not tried them yet. It is great that you can get some vegetable nutrition in your picky eater in the form of a delicious snack.

Those look good. I’ve seen these, but haven’t tried them yet. I’ll have to pick some up when I go shopping next.
HA! how sneaky?! love this trick… I have one picky eater (who just started this picky-business, I think it has a lot to do with copying a friend of hers who is picky!) BUT anyways, it’s not fun to deal with… glad there’s tricky ‘healthy’ treats out there so that I can do my evil laugh… mwah haha!
Haha. I know! I’m so glad myself!
I need to eat these to trick myself, haha! My kids are pretty good about eating healthy with me but I know what we’re missing 😛
Prior to this post, I didn’t hear of Garden Lites. Good thing it comes pre-made. Much better than actually baking the muffin.
Its great that have products like this on the market that is healthy but is still an adult. I hope he enjoyed the chocolate muffin.
He absolutely loves it! He had some last night after dinner and had some again for breakfast this morning. Now I need to buy more. 🙂
