One of the many things that we enjoyed during our month-long vacation to my hometown was having some fun in the sun. My hometown, General Santos City is located by the ocean at a location known as Sarangani Bay and a lot of beach resorts are located nearby.
Hubby had been to my hometown twice before this vacation and what I missed taking him to during his first two visits was the beach. So I made sure that we went to the beach this time with the family to enjoy the sun and the sand.
This beach was new to me since I’d never visited it before I left my hometown six years ago. I first heard of this beach resort from my brother so when my family asked which beach we wanted to go to, this was the beach I chose. The name of the resort is Susan’s Beach and it is located in the town of Bawing which is about a 45 minute drive from GenSan.
After enjoying time and food with the family, we had a photo shoot with my niece, Restly, who is into photography.
Selfie time! Those are my two nieces right there, Restly and Reese. It’s always fun being with these two.
After taking photos with the hubs and I, it was our son’s turn to have his photos taken.
He can be a cover boy, don’t you think? 🙂
And then it was time for a family picture. I was laughing so hard and I think both my husband and son found it amusing.
Both the hubs and I love this photo of us so we chose it to be our new profile picture. I think my niece did good in capturing this photo of us walking on the beach. What do you think? 🙂
Just talking about that fun at the beach we had makes me want to go there again.
