I have mentioned about the gardens of Biltmore Estate on my recent post about our visit to the estate, but there is just so much to share and tell about those beautiful gardens that I decided to make a follow-up post and add more photos.
Our previous visits to the estate were in the wintertime. This was the first time that we visited in the summertime and that’s why I couldn’t contain my excitement because I was going to enjoy the beauty of the estate’s gardens this time and they sure did not disappoint. I love flowers so I was like a little girl in a candy store so giddy with excitement while exploring the gardens.
ITALIAN GARDEN
First off, the Italian Garden. This was the closest garden to the house so we explored this one first.
Those colorful koi in the pools were such a delight. I could sit there and watch them for hours.
WALLED GARDEN
Next was the Walled Garden. We passed by the Shrub Garden before we got here, but I didn’t get a nice picture around that area. We did stop there for a few minutes to check that spot while the hubs was sitting on a bench. Yes, there our benches around the gardens where you can rest your tired legs and relax.
Seeing the Walled Garden was a “WOW” moment for me. Look at all those vibrant colors.
ROSE GARDEN
This garden features more than 250 varieties. We read some of the names, but I sure can’t remember any of those names now. All I know is that they are all roses. LOL.
Red Rose is my favorite flower of all. My bouquet of red roses on our wedding was a proof to that.
CONSERVATORY
I consider this one a tropical paradise because that exactly was what I felt as soon as we entered the door. What you’re seeing below is the beautiful exterior of the Conservatory that blends so well with the beautiful plants.
So lush! There were colorful orchids and hundreds if not thousands of different kinds of plants. I think a day is not enough to check all of them out.
Visiting the Biltmore Estate in the summer was definitely a great idea. We got to hike a little too towards the Boathouse and the Bass Pond after checking the Conservatory, and that will be what my story is about next time.

This place looks so beautiful. It reminds me a lot of some of the homes that they show in the old BBC Pride and Prejudice show. I really love how beautiful these stately manors are.
