Fall is my favorite season and there’s a lot of reasons why. One of them is going through a corn maze with my boys, namely my son and my husband. We’ve been doing it for a few years now and it is always a fun family experience in the spirit of adventure. So here are my tips for you so you will enjoy going through a corn maze and enjoy it to the fullest as much as we do.
1) FIND OUT THE THEME OF THE MAZE
Research on it or call them before heading there and find out if the corn maze is scary or family friendly. Being the scaredy cat I am, I prefer a family friendly corn maze, but some of you might enjoy a scary, Halloween themed corn maze more.
2) WEAR APPROPRIATE CLOTHING
Checking the weather before you go out is important. It can either be a little warm, chilly or cold during the fall season so you better dress appropriately. And you might need to bring an umbrella if storm clouds are in the air.
3) CARRY A WATER BOTTLE
Each member of the family should carry their own water bottle. The trails in a corn maze can be tiring to navigate, most especially if it’s a huge corn maze and it’s unseasonably hot. Stay hydrated!
4) ENJOY EVERY MINUTE
Reading the trail map can be tricky sometimes, but don’t worry about it. Just enjoy the trails and don’t worry about getting lost in the corn maze. You will soon find your way out. If you truly get lost, there’s always 911 to call, which I actually heard of happening somewhere.
5) PUT ON COMFORTABLE FOOTWEAR
Navigating a corn maze takes a lot of walking and comfortable footwear is your best friend plus using Dr. Scholl’s® Custom Fit® Orthotics means less discomfort.
BENEFITS OF DR. SCHOLL’S® CUSTOM FIT® ORTHOTIC INSERTS
Being on your feet for a long period going through a corn maze could be uncomfortable on your feet, and could give stress to your knee or lower back because lower back pain and knee pain can originate from your feet. Dr. Scholl’s® Custom Fit® Orthotic Inserts gives all day relief from those discomforts because it is made of 4 layers, each with different benefits that provide support and cushioning to your feet. I have been using these inserts and I can swear by them.
WHERE TO BUY IT
Dr. Scholl’s® Custom Fit® Orthotic Inserts are available at Walmart in the Pharmacy section. With a 90-day money back guarantee, you can’t go wrong by giving them a try. But before you buy one, know the Custom Fit® Orthotic Inserts that are right for you by using the Custom Fit® kiosk which can be found at the Custom Fit® Orthotic Inserts display.
HOW TO GET FITTED AT THE KIOSK
Take off your shoes and step up to the kiosk. The software will walk you through a process which will take less than 2 minutes. The Custom Fit® kiosk uses the FootMapping® technology and will recommend what inserts will fit you best based on your feet’s pressure points, arch type and foot length. After I was done with the process, I was recommended to use CF110.

We have done a few corn mazes, and it is definitely exhausting! The kids are always on the move and we are running through the maze at top speed.
I’ll have to check out these insoles, I actually work in a greenhouse on concrete all day and these sound like a great solution for me!

It’s been a few years since we did a corn maze thing with the kids. They are a little older now that they aren’t interested anymore in going to a pumpkin patch.

Great tips, everyone will sure enjoy the corn maze if this is followed. It’s not easy to stand and run all day, better be prepared.

I have always wanted to go to a corn maze. I don’t think there is a corn maze close to where I live. But I am willing to make the drive at least once. 🙂

Corn mazes are such fun. I haven’t been to one in years but I can’t wait to take my grandson in a few years. I have tried the Dr. Scholl’s insoles and man, are they a lifesaver when it comes to lots of walking.

I’ve heard a lot about that Dr. Scholl’s product and I must say it sounds like a great product. You gotta be ready before you go to corn mazes.

We don’t have too many corn mazes out here, which is kind of sad. But I do love mazes. I have tried the machines for Dr. Scholl’s but I haven’t purchased any of their products yet.
